Get Ready …..The Clean Air Zone charge is coming on 1 June,  where high polluting vehicles will be charged to enter Birmingham City Centre.

(all roads within the A4540 Ring Road but not the ring road itself).

For cars, taxis and vans the charge is £8 per day, while HGVs, coaches and buses will be charged £50 per day and the onus will be on the driver to pay the charge.

BCC has said most petrol vehicles from 2006 onwards and diesel vehicles from 2015 will be compliant and there will be exemptions for some vehicles. More information and a series of webinars is available at https://www.brumbreathes.co.uk
